Environment was contaminated by salt from the chips as they were being sorted. Bearings were not visible, so over greasing and exposing the bearing to contamination was a constant problem. The required time to replace bearings (20 on each side) was 48 hours tear down. Bearing life was less than 6 months. |

Bearings have been running for 2 years without any problems. MicroPoly is now used on all of the sorting lines, inclines, and hard to monitor applications. |
