MicroPoly Filled Bearings

PhyMet’s processing creates a solid lubricant with an oil-filled porous structure. The MicroPoly fills the space between the rolling elements and races in a bearing, providing constant and consistent lubrication. There is no need for additional lubrication during the life of a MicroPoly filled bearing.

Because it is a solid, MicroPoly can help block debris and reduce foreign contamination of the bearing. Reducing the incursion of debris into the bearing can significantly extend the bearing’s life. The solid structure of MicroPoly also improves housekeeping, as it will not drip out of the bearing and contaminate the environment.

Note: All MicroPoly filled bearings have speed limitations. Please click here to go to our calculator.

Bearings that can be filled with MicroPoly:

o Angular contact bearings

o Self aligning ball bearings

o Ball bearing inserts

o Single row ball bearings

o Ball thrust bearings

o Spherical roller bearings

o Cam followers

o Slim line ball bearings

o Cylindrical roller bearings

o Split roller bearings

o Double row ball bearings

o Tapered roller bearings

o Housed ball bearings

o Trolley wheels

o Housed roller bearings

o Needle roller bearings

o Roller thrust bearings

Filling bearings with MicroPoly lubricants does not alter the dimensional tolerances of the bearing in any way. As you can see in the following photos, the MicroPoly lubricant simply fills the spaces between the rolling elements and the cage.
